Quality Assurance Engineer
Highline Financial is seeking highly motivated and skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineers to join our growing Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to join a company that is not only growing, but has a well established product line, and a well established and knowledgeable Engineering team.

Position reports to the Manager of Engineering.

We are seeking Software Quality Assurance Engineers who can take ownership of an the entire testing cycle, including test plans, script writing, testing, bug reporting, and bug tracking You should be self-motivated, well organized, have good people-skills, and be willing to learn. You must have an attention to detail and be thorough in your coverage. You should also be able to work with developers and product managers to understand not only how something works, but how it should work. We produce regulatory filing products for the banking industry and require skilled testers to participate in adding additional features to evolve those systems into sophisticated next-generation web applications with the look, performance, and capabilities of a desktop application.

The following skills and experience are required:

• Strong attention to detail is required
• Ability to learn processes and applications quickly is required
• Software application testing experience is required
• Bug tracking experience is required (Bugzilla is a strong plus)
• 2+ Years Quality Assurance Experience is required
• Oracle/SQL Experience is a strong plus
• LoadRunner/SilkTest/OpenSTA automation scripting experience is a strong plus
• Unix/Linux Skills is a plus
• Windows/Linux IT experience is a plus
• Java development is a plus

Data Financial Analyst
Highline Financial LLC is currently conducting a search for a Financial Analyst within our Data Group. The ideal candidate will work as a member of a team in the maintenance of a Financial Services Company database.

Responsibilities:

• Research, collect and track information on publicly traded companies, regulatory companies and mergers & acquisitions within the banking industry
• Monitor SEC filings, press releases, company websites, regulatory websites and applications, Bloomberg, etc., for information on a daily basis
• Implement changes to data and databases to keep them current
• Assist in database mapping for internal and external data
• Verify the accuracy of data in Company online products
• Document and track bugs found during data quality checks
• Research and resolve client-side as well as internal issues
• Communicate pertinent information cross-functionally with other departments
• Create rankings and reports for Company online products
• Remain up to date with banking and related industries, including any regulatory changes or initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Knowledge of SEC/regulatory filings and financial statements/applications, preferably related to banking
• Financial Industry experience is a plus
• Strong PC skills including MS Excel and MS Word; Visual Basic or SQL/Oracle experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Make independent decisions within a team environment
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to learn quickly with a positive attitude
• Majority of work will be done on a PC, although role is not keystroke intensive
• Overtime may be required
• Other tasks as required
