Additionally, non-filing companies' financial history is available through Highline Financial's unique summed subsidiary data, enabling in-depth profiles of difficult-to-track institutions, including foreign companies, S&L holding companies and others. Your work can be easily exported to Excel and PDF for further analysis and presentation.

Using HighlineXL Excel Add-in, you can easily add live data updates to your existing analytical models or create new models with our intuitive, step-by-step HighlineXL wizard.

The Highline Rating, Leading Bank Solvency Rating
The Highline Rating, included with every HighlineFI subscription, is the first commonly used bank rating scale in the industry, dating back to 1985. Directly responsive to varying industry conditions, the Highline Rating is an excellent starting point for the analysis of a bank's health and is useful as an accurate indicator of potential for failure. The Highline Rating far outperforms the market-standard solvency flag, the Texas Ratio, for predicting bank failure long before actual failure. At three quarters prior to failure, the Highline Rating has accurately predicted over 161% more bank failures than the Texas Ratio since 2004.

Many state treasuries, including California, Tennessee and Maine, rely on the Highline Rating as the primary determining threshold for whether or not to invest public funds in institutions in their territory. Others, such as Alabama depend on the rating for establishing specific levels of required collateralization for public funds investment.

Peer, national and regional ratings are on a scale of 99 (best) to 0, and assignment is based upon objective financial statistics and comparisons to peer institutions. Also, every entity is assigned peer-based, national and regional rankings, providing additional context for performance evaluation. No other banking-sector data solution offers this time-tested bank health rating, only HighlineFI. It is an extremely informative and time-saving tool for improving your analyses and ultimately, your strategic decisions.

Comparative Performance Analysis
HighlineFI enables extremely detailed peer group comparisons. Thousands of individual data points may be integrated into your web-based analyses, which can cover company financial performance, individual branch performance, market demographics and an extensive array of Highline Financial's proprietary performance ratios, ratings and other metrics.

Using the most accurate and timely regulatory and GAAP data, you can easily target any bank, S&L, credit union or holding company and dissect its financial strengths, weaknesses and performance extending back as far as 18 years, as well as comparing their financial performance each quarter.

HighlineFI's bank branch database delivers competitor and peer group analysis with branch ownership and openings/closings updated daily. Using web-based demographic data, mapping software and product demand data, you can assess the competitive impact of different branch networks or build detailed peer group comparisons based on identical location and demographic characteristics.

M&A Research
HighlineFI enables the quick access to detailed transaction, pricing, company performance, financial and advisor data, and more for comparable deal analysis and other periodic research needs. Powerful Quick Search and Advanced Search analytics allow screening and selection of deals based on an extensive array of criteria, across all company types. Your analysis is further streamlined by multi-deal reporting.

All data can be quickly exported to HighlineXL Excel(R) Add-In to harness Excel's specialized capabilities for further analysis and presentation.

Merger Statistics and Price Trending
Your selected transaction data may be analyzed by region, target institution type, target total assets and total deal value, or view data going back to 1994, using the mean, median and weighted averages for Total Purchase Price, Price to Equity Ratio, Price to Total Assets Ratio. These reports provide statistical averages and quarter-to-quarter activity for Whole Company, Branch and FDIC transactions to generate comparative analysis, figure fair market value and analyze trends.

• Adjust M&A Statistic’s transaction parameters and easily export your results to an Excel spreadsheet via HighlineXL.
• Examine transaction data by region, target institution type, target total assets and total deal value.
